Soden Collection was founded in 2017 by Jonathan Soden, bringing together strong curatorial judgement and a highly personal approach to collecting.

The gallery presents a carefully curated programme of contemporary painting, sculpture and ceramics, working closely with emerging and established British artists. A focus on quality, context and long-term relationships has established Soden Collection as a trusted destination for contemporary art in Shrewsbury and beyond.

Alongside this programme, the gallery also sources works by important modern masters including David Hockney, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Francis Bacon and Tracey Emin, allowing clients to build collections with depth and perspective.

Art consultancy is central to the gallery’s work. We advise private clients, interior designers and corporate collectors, offering a discreet, independent and highly tailored service.
