Oil, watercolour and charcoal are my preferred medium… it was during long tours with the BBC Philharmonic that I found myself drawn back to painting.
Chris Evans is a British landscape painter whose atmospheric oils capture the shifting moods of land, weather and light. With an expressive, textural approach, his works balance abstraction and observation, creating landscapes that feel both familiar and quietly poetic. His practice is rooted in a lifelong love of drawing, rediscovered during his years travelling as a professional musician.
