I build figures like quick sketches in space—clay carrying breath, gesture, and the untidy truths of being human.
Sharon Griffin is a Shropshire-based figurative sculptor whose ceramic works are deeply rooted in the woodland she walks. Working fast and intuitively, she treats clay as a 3D canvas to capture gesture, vulnerability, and strength. A Selected Member of the Royal Society of Sculptors (MRSS) and the Craft Potters Association (CPA), Griffin exhibits nationally, teaches widely, and leads a community pottery in Wellington. Her work sits in public and private collections, including the Aberystwyth University Ceramics Collection.
